RHGB automatically switches back to "hide details" unexpectedly

I've been noticing that RHGB automagically switches back to a "hide
details" mode display after I've selected "show details".

This has been happening since the FC3t3 release (at least).

I've bugzilla'd a low severity report (#135984) for this unexpected
behaviour.
