/etc/fstab Lacks Mount Point For Floppy

How about an ordering inside of one particular configuration file?
Is this spelled out somewhere?  Probably from top to bottom but can
one be really sure about that in any implementation?  Or it is
necessary to split one option per file, to follow what you say
above, in order to be sure that results will be as expected and will
survive updates?
