I have noticed the same thing with Q3 as well as other closed source
programs that I run like TeamSpeak2. The problems started with kernel
2.6.7-1.517 . If I boot to a version earlier than that things work
fine.
I opened a bug on this a while ago. Please let me know what info I can
provide that will help debug this.

The echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/legacy_va_layout works like a charm though ...
thanks!
