Control-Alt-Fn Problem - REPOST

[Kugler Erwin (VTG)]

Same problem here when switching to Ctrl-Alt-F[1-6].

Black screen with green borders. Login works but no text to see.

Card: Matrox G200
Monitor: Nokia 447Xav (CRT)
CPU: Pentium 3

Gnome works fine.
