upgrading to gcc 4.0

Huh? gcc 4 is *included* in FC3.

$ rpm -q gcc4
gcc4-4.0.0-0.41.fc3

It's parallel installed with gcc 3.4.3. If you didn't install it you
should be able to now by just doing

$ sudo yum install gcc4

without adding any further yum repositories.
