I have similar problems (since yesterday). Today's update did not fix
it. After booting in interactive mode and saying no to a lot of daemons
I got a desktop again...
Does disabling rdisc fix it? I did a ckhconfig rdisk off but I am
currently back in FC3 and didn't test it yet.
