Very strange ... today's report lists that gcc was updated whereas running yum 
check-update lists both gcc and glibc as having updates available ... and 
then there is system-config-display whereas yum check-update lists both 
system-config-display and system-config-nfs.  These are only a couple of 
examples ... there are other differences.

I have never noticed before such a wide variance between the rawhide report 
and actual available updates.
