Then you are running the wrong distribution.  While Fedora can and is
used on servers and desktops, it is not for zero-downtime systems.
Since a particular version of Fedora Core will only get updates for less
than a year, you will need to take systems off-line regularly for
upgrades or re-installs.

If you want a high-uptime system, use an enterprise type distribution.
