X.Org accepts new developers rather openly.  Feel free to subscribe
to xorg-arch at lists.x.org with a strawman proposal and plan for
implementing this, and see if it catches interest.  If people
believe that is the way to go, then all it takes is someone to
take charge of moving it forward, and someone to write the code.
