Yes, I am also seeing this ... running any 32 bit application I have tried 
results in a Segmentation Fault.

Note to vmware users -- this appears to be the problem with vmware too 
since /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl gets a Segmentation fault trying to 
execute /usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware which is a 32 bit application.
