Firefox won't come up

In a fresh install of 2005.01.09 rawhide (preserving /home) I'm having a
problem with Firefox.  Even after removing ~/.mozilla/firefox the
Firefox browser won't come up.  It just sits there running up cpu time
and never displaying a screen or error messages.

The system is a K6-2 @400MHz with 320MB and utterly standard hardware.

I'll bugzilla this later today.
