Nautilus: can't disable "Perform action on blank disc when inserted" & DVD writing troubles

Nautilus isn't touching your drive, simply informing you that there is
an entry in fstab which points to /dev/hdc created by HAL. I would file
a bug against k3b or growisofs.  Booting into runlevel 1 and it still
doesn't work points to a problem with the program trying to write to the
dvd.
