Nasty Bug (plus fix)

Yup, this one is in bugzilla:

The problem here is that for some reason, the part of the swap partition
that contains the partition's label doesn't get obliterated by mkswapfs
so we're reading whatever garbage was there and thinking it's a valid
label.  I should have a fix for it in a day or two.
