fstab-sync - unrecognized mount option

hi,

i try to access the cd-rom,
i attach a usb-device (stick,camera,..) and try to access,
==> i get errors "unable to mount"

mounting as root is possible.
# mount /dev/hdc /media/cdrecorder
# mount /dev/sda1 /media/usbstick


powerbook g4
fc4t1-ppc
disabled selinux
hal-0.5.0.cvs20050310-1 (updated)


which packages i need to update?
