No help on my system, FWIW.

I should note that I'm running a 2.6.12-rc4 kernel, and still haven't
figured out if that's the problem.  The gcc change makes going back to
older kernels hard, and, at last attempt, the stock rawhide kernel has
the known (to the kernel bugzilla, anyway) "oops on emu10k1 module load"
problem...
