yum hates me ... openoffice dependency problem with libjawt.so.6 (i swear its there!)

Ok, so after further investigation:
[root at nb01 ~]# cat /etc/ld.so.conf
include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf
[root at nb01 ~]# ls -l /etc/ld.so.conf.d/

Shouldn't I have /usr/lib and /usr/lib64 in my ld.so.conf?  Possibly
why it can't find the libraries?
