Modular X r128 driver problem

Great work on modularization. I have a few desktop machines that
upgraded without a hitch an 1 laptop that is still giving me trouble.
Excepting the openmotif and fonts-devel package install went fine. When
i reboot however x server failed to start at all. Seems to be 2 issues:

* known synaptics bug (obviously not stopping x from starting though)
* otherwise unreported r128 unresolved symbol

Below is the abbreviated error log from /var/log/. Will happily forward
along the entirety or bugzilla if needed. Thank you and Please advise.
