Sorry, I misunderstood, and I also gave the wrong information - I
created the image on VMWare Workstation 5.0, not 5.5.

After installing it on FC4, VMWare failed to work at all, so I applied
the "vmware-any-any-update" patch from one of the developers to get it
working. You can get it from:
 http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/?M=D

I can try 5.5 probably on Tuesday if you don't have any luck.
