Ah, sorry, a little tired.  This (obviously) isn't any help.  The bug
you mention below it the appropriate one.

Yeah, this is the bug.

The update to the 2.6.15 kernel included a newer version of the driver
(and needed a newer firmware too???), and resolved this problem.

I'm hoping that Dave might be willing to consider using this version in
the 2.6.14 kernel for FC4 (or maybe update to 2.6.15).
