Summary     : The Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) DNS (Domain Name System) server.
Description :
BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain) is an implementation of the DNS
(Domain Name System) protocols. BIND includes a DNS server (named),
which resolves host names to IP addresses; a resolver library
(routines for applications to use when interfacing with DNS); and
tools for verifying that the DNS server is operating properly.

Update Information:

The BIND support for dynamic forwarder table management with
D-BUS for the new NetworkManager can be enabled by giving 
named the -D option, in /etc/sysconfig/named 'OPTIONS=...-D'.

This update can also be installed with the Update Agent; you can
launch the Update Agent with the 'up2date' command.  You may 
need to edit your up2date channels configuration.  Within 
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources enable the following line: 
yum updates-testing http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/testing/4/$ARCH
