Portmap will not start/restart after installing glibc-2.5.90-8 (No NFS)

I rebooted an NFS client and couldn't reattach the NFS shares.  On the
server, when I restarted portmap it would no longer run.

Reverting back to glibc-2.5.90-7 resolved the problem.

    rpm -Uvh --oldpackage glibc*2.9.90-7*.rpm
