Yes you are correct, and since I mirror rawhide, I did a localupdate on the 
updated rpms, which updated smoothly.

BUT...

When I had to reboot, the X server (or at least gdm/metacity/gnome) won't 
start for some reason.  So I am guessing am going to have to wait
for another update to happen and get hopefully something fixed.
