I understand.  On a happier note I was able to upgrade from FC5T1 to
FC5T2 using just the development tree  --  I did it by installing the
FC5T1 CDs and then rpm -i kernel 1808 only.

Lastly I upgraded all the lastest rpms minus the kernel(s.)

=)  I even got sound back  LOL
