Had the same problem (although it seemed fine initially, or maybe it
didn't and I just didn't notice).
I check /sys/class/fireware/timeout and it was already 100.
Downgrading udev to udev-058-1.0.FC4.1 makes it all work again, but
that's not a lot of help.
