I'm not sure what's happening.  Before I ran newaliases the log shows

and now, after sending a test message to root at mylan.net, it shows

yet the message has been delivered correctly this time.

Hopefully that means that the problem is fixed, thanks, but I do wonder why 
the log refers to it as Deferred.
