FC6 Test 1: init.d kills during startup

FC6 Test 1 (PPC iMac)
After updating to kernel 2.6.17-1.2318, just after thr Press "I" for
Interactive mode, I am seeing such and such process killed; then the
system hangs.

Reverted back to using -
2.6.16-1.2289_FC6 #1 Thu Jun 15 14:32:42 EDT 2006 ppc ppc ppc GNU/Linux

Also, after each update the iptables do not seem to want to set-up
properly, I have to manually reset both iptables and ip6tables...

Most things I have tested so far appear to work fine, Atlantik being
the exception.  Overall a very good test build -- at least it actually
installs on my iMac.  Nothing after FC5 Test 1 would install during
that roll out -- and I had to "trick" FC5 Test 3 to install by
installing Ubuntu first back then.
