   Don't know what else to say but 'ditto' (xorg updates, FC6).
Roughly 50% of the values I was usin (several distros) for
brightness / contrast, to get me close to what I had (which was
better, darker).  Other than it amazes me that updates change
parameters (as they should), but hardly anyone speaks up when it
goes south. OTOH, I gotta feelin this is an upstream 'feature'.

   I'm probly gonna havta paste this to Tbird, as recent kdebase,
kdepim updates broke sendin for kmail (bugs filed, thanks to Rex
Dieter)
