Is this a change from FC5?

I just installed FC6T1 on a Dell D800 with nv, connected to external DVI
monitor, it didn't recognise monitor, but installed anyway, and
therefore only had VGA resolutions available.

I then told it manually the monitor type (Sony XDM-82 Digital) and extra
modes became available, but not 1280x1024 which is the monitor's native
resolution, but the list included 1600x1024 which is higher than the
monitor's capability.

Does the wrong video resolution indicate bad data for my monitor type in
kudzu/anaconda?

If I comment out the HorizSync/verRefresh/Modes lines of xorg.conf it
detects the proper resolution using DDC.

When I installed FC5 on the same hardware I *probably* installed using
the internal 1280x800 LCD when the laptop was undocked, so might not
have seen the issue, I *did* have to add 1280x1024 to the Modes section
to get ctrl-alt-plus and ctrl-alt-minus working so I could manually
switch modes when docking/undocking the laptop and switching from
internal LCD to external LCD.
