Trash not showing files

Once again this probably should be in the standard fedora list since FC5
has been released.  

The Trash applet does not recognize files moved to trash.  Based on
other bug reports, it appears this is due to /home being a separate file
system.  I'm assuming that the following upstream bug reports are the
cause, but it looks like this has existed for a long time and seems
rather critical to me.  Is anyone working on this?
