I don't follow this....
How is rejecting a minix formatted cd/usb stick for automatic mounting
rewinding the clock?

(but yes from a security point of view I don't like mounting "foreign"
devices automatically. In fact I'd love for a fuse plugin for these so
that they're not read in kernel mode...)
