The latest libXfont is broken - neither xfs nor X can recognize any font directories as valid. Reverting to the libXfont in FC6 restores operation. This has been bugged: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=216661 Just thought I'd share this wonderful Thanksgiving present.
