yes, that's it !
and it's in the F7 kernel (CONFIG_BOOT_DELAY=y)

yesterday/this morning i was playing with 'earlyprintk,keep', but irc, 
it only gives additional output in a later state of the boot process, so 
i don't mentioned it.
