Description :
Elfutils is a collection of utilities, including ld (a linker),
nm (for listing symbols from object files), size (for listing the
section sizes of an object or archive file), strip (for discarding
symbols), readelf (to see the raw ELF file structures), and elflint
(to check for well-formed ELF files).

Update Information:

This update fixes bugs in the dwarf_getscopes, dwfl_module_addrsym, and dwfl_module_addrname functions.  It also adds the -x and -p options to the eu-readelf utility, which conveniently print certain types of raw data, and the -S option to the eu-addr2line utility, which prints ELF symbol or section information for an address.
