This is an old thread, but I thought I would revisit it.

With the 2.1.0 driver on my i915 chipset the fonts didn't look that
great. Today I updated my driver from

http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/individual/driver/xf86-video-intel-2.1.1.tar.gz

and that driver works well on my F7 machine. Fonts are good and the
display works correctly. Can we get an RPM of this driver. It was
released on Aug 13,2007.
