Clean install of FC6 - anyone got a solution?

Bob, 

I just did a clean install Sunday Night, then a full update and did not
experience these issue.  

1. Did you verify the ISO sha1sum?

2. Did you do a media check for any media you burned for this install?

That is where I would start.
