FC7 install experiences

Installed FC7 x86_64 on two computers with few issues.

Asus P5B-E  cannot get sound out of the motherboard's
digital output.  Analog works.  So does the Attansic ethernet.

Asus A8n-e another smooth install except for network setup,
which may have been pilot error.  After a few tweeks and a
reboot or two it all works.

Vncserver -depth 24 still doesn't show icons.  Had to revert to the
default depth.

Thunderbird and Wine should have been available on the DVD install
considering the DVD is nowhere near full.  Thunderbird and Wine
work normally after downloading.

Some of the yum repositories are very slow and/or intermittent.
