The broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0.tar.bz2 fails md5sum check from
bcm43xx-fwcutter version 005.  However broadcom-wl-4.80.9.2.tar.bz2
works.  It is available from the same source at openwrt.org.

I un-blacked listed the bcm43xx_mac80211 and blacklisted bcm43xx. 

After rebooting, wireless is working with the new module.  The only
difference is that the signal strength is show as strong in all APs.
With the softmac, there was an indication of signal strength.
