Is NetworkManager really as broken as it seems?

KNetworkManager seems to be broken since the NetworkManager update to
0.7 because the API changes, so if you are using KDE (like me) then
you need to wait until the KNetworkManager package update... or
install the Gnome NetworkManager frontend... or continue using the
ifup method :-)
