Panic bringing up eth with vmlinuz-2.6.23-0.202.rc8.fc8

I installed the vmlinuz-2.6.23-0.202.rc8.fc8 on my
DELL Dimension 1100 Desktop  (Service Tag: 4VRDX91)
with pcHDTV HD5500 HDTV card.   The system now panics
while bring up eth0, attached is an image of the screen.

When I booted with  "console=ttyS0,9600  debug"  the system
came up okay,
