Is that what Chuck said you should do? No. It was:
rpm -Uvh kernel-headers*.rpm
so no wonder you get:
error: Failed dependencies:
> kernel-headers is needed by (installed) glibc-headers-2.6-4.i386

Again, not what you were told to do. When updating you are doing just that,
no freshening or removing.
