Well my machine is too old for kvm, but otherwise using Qemu 0.9.1 +
kqemu (no kernel-kqemu).  The virtual drive was freshly created with
"qemu-img f9.img 8G", nothing unusual.  If it is a bug that isn't
showing up for anyone else on QEMU I'll collect as much information as
possible.
