Tested this against rawhide with same resaults and
yes cleared all cache ..
yum clean all rpm --rebuilddb rm -rf /boot/upgrade
and rm -rf /var/cache/yum/anaconda-upgrade

The path entry in grub is still incorrect nor can it mount
the image it fetches..
