After running

[root at desktop ~]# yum whatprovides libpackagekit-glib.so.10
Loaded plugins: allowdowngrade, fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit
PackageKit-glib-0.3.9-4.fc10.i386 : GLib libraries for accessing PackageKit
Matched from:
Other : libpackagekit-glib.so.10

i discovered that the package with the desired dependency is older than the
package i have. so i tried to uninstall to install the old version, but gave
up because it would remove also PackageKit, PackageKit-gstreamer-plugin,
PackageKit-udev-helper, PackageKit-yum, PackageKit-yum-plugin, all in
version 0.3.11-4.fc10 .

Now i have the package 'gnome-packagekit' unistalled, because try to install
it brings the error:

[root at desktop ~]# yum install gnome-packagekit
Loaded plugins: allowdowngrade, fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit
....
