no official U.S. time displayed

Running Rawhide with today's updates, I get Uncle Sam's official web
page (http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Central/d/-6/java) without
error, but no display of the time (using Firefox).

about:plugins in Firefox shows :

GCJ Web Browser Plugin (using IcedTea) 1.5

    File name: gcjwebplugin.so
    The GCJ Web Browser Plugin (using IcedTea) executes Java applets.
followed by a table of Mime Types (all enabled)
