.xsession-errors has nothing
/var/log/cups/access_log is ok

in /var/log/cups/access_log there is this

E [20/Feb/2008:08:49:56 -0700] [cups-driverd] Unable to open PPD
directory "/usr/local/share/ppd": No such file or directory
E [20/Feb/2008:08:49:56 -0700] [cups-driverd] Unable to open PPD
directory "/opt/share/ppd": No such file or directory

The /usr/local looks odd there, since in Fedora everything is generally
/usr, of course that maybe just a list of directories that cups-driverd
is looking in.

Also, I reinstalled my printers just to be sure there was nothing wrong
there. Everything reinstalled right, the Print button is just disabled
for those dialogs using

I tested the printer with KDE and it works fine. I also tested plugging
the printer in via USB and I thought that cups would have auto installed
the printer, but it didn't but after I set it up, no GTK app would allow
me to print to it.
