In *stable* releases, we make every effort to guarantee that updates  
will not break anything and that any fixes required will be  
automatically handled by the packages.

But you're completely wrong about rawhide. Rawhide is pre-release  
software intended for developers and testers. There is *NO GUARANTEE*  
that updates will not break parts of your system. Furthermore you  
*WILL* encounter problems that require *MANUAL REPAIR* by the user.

But that's why this list exists - so our brave testers can discuss  
what broke and how to fix it.

These are the risks with pre-release software. Take it or leave it.
