It's the same with 2.6.23.14-115.fc8! It installed without any problems,
but insisted on starting eth1 and not just the enabled eth0.
Feb 10th's rawhide boot-time:
1:53 till gdm screen
2:53 till being logged in
So, while in F9 Alpha with F8's kernel, I disabled rhgb and a few more
services. Boot-time is down to 1:26, which is still too slow. It takes
2:04 to arrive at the GNOME desktop. Responsiveness is poor as before,
so the next guess would be that Xorg is involved (radeon driver).
