gnome-mount tries to mount blank cd, then crashes

Dear all,

When one pops a blank cd, gnome-mount tries to mount
it fails then crashes and bug buddy pops up, just like
another fellow on the list with the thread, rawhide is
too raw or something like that, I have not bothered to
ask since it might be Bz'd already, but who knows. 
Can anyone shed some light with regards to this issue?
