Rawhide loader failing

Today's 386 Rawhide loader fails at the point where I would
expect it to start installing apps.   There is no message on the
GUI screen, it just goes black except for the cursor.

There is a complaint files no being in the expected place
on one of the ptys.

This was on a NFS install on a 384M 800 MHz pentium
box that has NFS installed Rawhide in the past.
