GoogleEarth runtime failure on X86_64

I'm getting a runtime failure with googlearth looking for libgthread

Its available in /lib64 (the correct version) but GE can't seem to see it


Anyone else tried GE on x86_64 (GenuineIntel(tm))

also had troubles getting GE installed without installing certain i386
libs on the x86_64 machine.

I know this isn't the *right* place to complain, but I thought of here
first.
